Your insurance is no joke…

insurance-is-no-jokeThe 1st quarter of this year is almost over, and April 1st is just next week.
Watch out for the old “April Fools Jokes”! No one wants to be fooled and part of some joke.

Your Insurance is NO JOKE and I have a few tips to help you keep from being surprised with your insurance premiums:

  • If you are looking to purchase a new/newer automobile contact your insurance professional and ask what the difference in premium will be…
I have seen young people (especially Military) buy a new car and then they find out the insurance payments are more than they can afford.
  • If you are looking to buy a home, before you settle on the home, check to see what the insurance premiums would be…
It will allow you to see if this home is in a high brush area, which some insurance companies will not even quote.
  • If you are leasing a commercial property for a new office make sure you ask what are the insurance requirements to fulfill the lease…
Once you sign the lease that is not the time to find out that the insurance requirements will cost you more than you can afford.

These are just a few tips to help you not be fooled and the joke be on you.
There is an old saying that “if you fail to plan, then you plan to fail”!
Insurance is a great tool to help protect yourself, but no one needs their insurance to be a financial hardship. If you follow these simple tips, you will be able to sleep at night knowing you’re covered properly and that you can afford your insurance premiums.
